Eggs gently cooked in butter in a shallow pan and finished with pul biber.
Melt the butter over low heat in a shallow pan. Let it foam gently without browning.
Crack each egg into a small bowl and slide it into the pan, keeping the yolks intact. Season lightly. Wash hands and any utensils that touched raw egg.
Cover and cook gently, checking after 3 minutes. Continue until the whites and yolks are firm; allow extra time if needed. If serving softer yolks, use pasteurized shell eggs.
The whites are fully opaque with no clear, unset patches; firm yolks are the standard food-safety endpoint.
Remove from the heat, sprinkle with pul biber if using, and serve promptly with the bread.
Use a small pan that holds the eggs in one layer. When increasing servings, use a wider pan or cook separate batches.
