Flavor and suitable uses depend on the product.

What to look for when buying

  • For frying, choose a food-grade sunflower oil labeled for that use.
  • Check the type and avoid treating every sunflower oil as nutritionally identical.

Prepare & cook

  • Follow the recipe’s oil depth and batch temperature.
  • Keep water away from hot oil and do not fill a pan so high that food displaces oil over the rim.

Store it well

  • Keep tightly closed in a cool dark cupboard.
  • Follow the label’s use and storage directions after opening.

At the Turkish table

Our mücver uses sunflower oil for shallow frying. Oil depth is a pan instruction and does not multiply automatically with servings.
